On line Transliteration- Demo
The purpose of this demo is to illustrate the transliteration capabilities built into the IITM Software. The syllable level coding scheme common to all the languages helps in direct and accurate transliteration across the scripts in use.

The text of "vande mataram" is shown below in Devanagari. The script into which you desire to see the text transliterated can be selected. The transliterated text will be returned when the form is submitted. The text shown in Devanagari comes from a document already prepared and kept in the system. This text is obtained through a process of conversion from Roman to Devanagari using the ITRANS scheme. Viewers may effect changes to the input and submit the same. Please note that full compatibility with ITRANS is not retained to permit uniform representation across the scripts.

Use this demo to create your own PDF documents and serve them at your websites.

Those interested in converting standard ITRANS documents to PDF or GIF formats may use the conversion utility "tconvert" downloadable from this site.
