May that goddess Sarasvati, whose complexion rivals the
radiance of the jasmine flower, of the full moon, of
snow and of the pearl necklace, who is draped in a
luminous white raiment, whose hands hold the VINA
(musical instrument) and the wish-yielding staff, who is
seated on a white lotus, who is always worshipped
(saluted) by Brahma, Vishnu, Siva and other deities and
who destroys dullness (ignorance) totally, protect me.
