89-1
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna, who
is the son of Vasudeva, who quelled Kamsa and ChANUra
and is the boundless bliss of Devaki.
89-2
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna, who
has the (bluish-dark) colour of atasi flower, shining
with garland, anklets, bracelets set with diamonds and
armlets.
89-3
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna, who
has curly locks of hair, whose face has the splendour of
the full moon and who is adorned with sparkling ear
rings.
89-4
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna, who
has the fragrance of mandAra flowers, who has a charming
smile, who has four arms and who is decorated with
peacock feather on His crown.
89-5
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna,
whose eyes resemble the full-blown lotuses, who is
charming like the blue-tinged fresh rain- bearing cloud,
and who is the crest-jewel of the Yadava clan.
89-6
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna, who
is engaged in playful sports with (consort) Rukmini, who
is resplendent in the yellow raiment and who exudes the
fragrance of the Tulasi plant.
89-7
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna,
whose chest is smeared with the saffron powder from the
bosoms of gopis, who is the abode of goddess Lakshmi and
who has a majestic bow.
89-8
I salute the preceptor of the universe Lord Krishna, who
has the srivatsa mark on His chest, whose chest is
broad, who is decorated with vanamAla, who is the deity
having the shanka (Conch) and the (Sudarshana) wheel in
His hands.
